How Does the internet really work? How can you make money from it?

Let’s look at two different types of earning money.
When I was an engineer, I had to go to work, do what they wanted me to do, and go home. This is a time-based job, because I was required to be there at least 40 hours a week, regardless of how much or how little I worked.
Some of you would say that you work harder so that you can get a raise or a promotion. However, you have to remember that you are working for a large corporation. What does that mean? It means that you are not promised a job. It means that if you can be replaced by cheaper labor, you will be replaced. If you are too efficient, and can do 8 hours of work in 4, they may think that they don’t need you to do the job…
Enter performance-based income. You work from home. You work as well and as fast as you can. The more experience and the more education you get, the higher income you can command.
If you want to know the secret to making money on the internet, here it is:
You help someone solve a problem.
If you are blown away by that, then you may have a perception of internet marketing that is not entirely accurate. That’s OK.
Once you shift your perspective of making money online from selling to helping someone solve a problem, then you are on the right track to becoming successful online.
This is good news for people who hate to sell.
In reality you have been a salesperson all your life. Sales is really asking for an exchange of two things of equal value. You offer your skills to a company with your education and experience and they put a price on it.
Sales is also about solving problems. If you can help someone lose weight, or make them healthier then people will be willing to pay for it.
If you have a really good product or service, there is no end to how many people will pay to have their problem solved. Many will even come back over and over.
Instead of thinking of yourself as a salesperson, think of yourself as a solution provider. Your approach would be a lot different, wouldn’t it?
Your approach would be more about them, their problems, their pain, than you and making money.
Do you see how this can be an effective way to increase your income?
Focusing on the person and their pain, and then offering them a solution that they would be willing to pay for is the best way to build a strong relationship with your customers.
